Steve Schneider
It took Steve Schneider 39 years to figure out that his future lay in the real estate business. Up until that time he had served in the U.S. Navy as a supply officer, obtained an MBA degree from U.C. Berkeley, and served in the U.S. Foreign Service in Aden, Mexico, Brussels, and Berkeley! When faced with a transfer to Washington D.C. he chose to stay in Berkeley and obtained his broker's license. He began teaching real estate courses in the Peralta College system and continued that career for 27 years. In 1975, Steve became the broker at Marvin Gardens and since then he has enjoyed being part of a unique team in a unique office serving Berkeley and environs. When vacation times roll around he and his wife, Francisca, head for the island of Menorca, Spain, where they have a second home.
